(Modesto,
CA) -Modesto City Mayor Jim Ridenour announced his support for former
Modesto Councilwoman Janice Keating in the Republican primary for
the 25th Assembly District.
"Janice
is the right leader, at the right time to represent our community,"
said Ridenour. "She will bring a conservative, jobs-first, no-nonsense
approach that we need so desperately in Sacramento."
"Janice
brought her experience as a small-business owner, community volunteer
and mom to her eight distinguished years on the city council. Her
real world business experience and taxpayer-first approach makes Janice
the clear choice for Assembly."
Mayor
Ridenour is a Republican serving his second term. The focus of his
tenure has been job creation, economic development, solving transportation
problems, and improving quality of life.
This
recent endorsement adds to a growing list including Madera Sheriff
John Anderson, Modesto Councilman Dave Geer, conservative talk-radio
host Dave! Diamond and dozens of local small-business leaders.
