Down to the Wire
Well, here we are in the last week. Fundraisers, meet and greets, forums, precints walks - it's been a blur - and so much fun!
I've given it my all and hope I've done enough to get my message out. Many people have already voted, the absentee count will probably be a record high this election. If you have an absentee ballot at home, don't forget to mail it before election day.
Pansies !
On the weekend of October 21st over 120 volunteers spread out over the city and delivered over 6,000 potted pansies to voters in District 4. It was quite an undertaking but it feels great to have it done. A million thanks to everyone involved.
It was quite a sight to have that many flats of flowers around the house. At first, the neighbors all thought we were planting them. We watered them for a few days before the event and were kind of sad to see them go. I'm glad they all have a good home now and that I could share something positive with the voters in my district as a little change of pace from the mountains of mail we're all getting.

Election Night Party
Special thanks to my friend Marci D'Arpino for letting us take over the lounge at Nosh Restaurant for our second Election Night Party. (This will actually be my third election night event at that location and it's brought me luck each time!)
Stop by anytime starting at 7:30 pm and watch the returns come in with my friends and supporters. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a no-host bar.
